We walked into Kobe Beef Amami by chance when searching on Google and saw the reviews. We wanted to try premium Kobe beef at least once. We were able to be seated without a reservation since they’re a relatively new location. Saira was our chef and she spoke English. She cooked the meat perfectly and the meat was the most tender beef I’ve had. Although they were premium Kobe beef, they did not taste oily at all. The texture was very even. We got the four different cuts of the premium Kobe beef at 110g each. We also got the beef nigiri and two drinks. Was it worth $900 USD? I would say it’s a once in a lifetime experience to know what some of the best beef tastes like.
