The restaurant seats 7 people, recommend making a reservation ahead of time or come early. We had a party of four, arrived at just after 11am on a Saturday morning and were able to be seated right away. One of our party has some allergies and the restaurant team was very accommodating. I would recommend Googling the items you're allergic to and save a photo to show the staff for easier communication. We went with the recommended set of 3 different cuts for 3-4 people, 155g each/465g total (iirc), with set A with white rice. We also ordered the lobster tail for one party member who could not eat beef. The restaurant also has scallops and fish options, to be ordered in addition to a Kobe beef option. During the main course, the chefs (M-san was our chef for the beef and T-san was our chef for the lobster tail) were very helpful in guiding us on which condiments/sauces/combinations to try with each piece/cut for both the beef and the lobster tail. On the plate, there were three condiments; salt, sweet miso paste (?, I think, please correct me if I'm wrong. Please let us know what it is exactly as we would like to try it again) and freshly-grated wasabi. There were also three sauces; lemon sauce, garlic and shoyu (soy sauce). There was also an onion sauce. The Kobe beef were expertly cooked and we thoroughly enjoyed the meal. The preparation itself was very enjoyable. The different pieces and cuts were very delicious. We had ordered the beef sushi after the mains, which I think wasn't the right thing to do. It would've been better to order the sushi during the initial order and eat it before the mains. The restaurant is right next to the Kobe Motomachi Shopping Street, not far from the East end. I would allow at least one hour for the meal. Leave yourself some spare time after if you're planning on catching the shinkansen.
