We just had lunch here, kind of disappointed. We had high expectations due to the reviews, and well, having Kobe beef in Kobe. The older chef that we had didn’t ask us what we wanted for how we liked our steak cooked, and the chef couldn’t communicate since he didn’t know English. The beef was cubed and turned before a good sear could happen. The beef was very good, but not done properly by the chef. Customers beside us with another chef got properly seared steaks. I include 2 photos here, first one of our steak cubes without searing, and a second of the steak with a good sear for customers next to us. We have had Tepanyaki with Kobe beef that was much, much better in Osaka. I thought it could only be better in Kobe, but I was wrong to believe the reviews here, and picked a wrong place. The setting and decor was very common, not high end, but price is really quite high compared to better, higher end restaurants in Osaka.
