Excellent experience for lunch where up to 3pm, they offer a set menu which includes a salad, rice & soup or you can order sides as well to accompany your steak selection. We ordered the special rare cut of premium Kobe beef of 165g (¥15,345) shared by two of us as we upgraded to a Kobe beef rice with egg yolk & also a garlic egg fried rice. There are other more premium cuts available if you would like. Chef Sasabe spoke good English & cooked the steak medium rare & vegetables to perfection. First bite literally melted in our mouths & we tasted the rest with their house wasabi which was mellow & sweet. Very delicate & good taste pairing. Their waitresses spoke decent English too & were very friendly in helping us with our choices. I tasted their Kobe premium sake also which was delicious & easy to drink. We did a lot of research as to which Kobe Beef teppanyaki restaurant we should go to as there is literally one on every street corner in Kobe! Whilst there might be cheaper options in other places - they might not have the care & pride that this restaurant gives to its beef. It is an award winner in wagyu & gets their Tajima beef cuts from family farm Nakanishi. All their vegetables & rice comes from the Hyogo prefecture so you can tell they take pride in their local produce which is a massive +++ for me. Local restaurants that support local produce & takes pride in their service & food quality is top notch for me. Also, the layout of the restaurant seems less crowded, which gave us an excellent experience.
