Shiota the chef and staff manager was kind and helpful, and the beef was really really good. the price is high as to be expected for kobe but it is well worth it. Just know they will hound you for a good review after your food and the prices listed outside are nowhere near the actual prices. a small portion of sirloin was over $200 but I have to say the meat was actually incredible so do with that what you will. overall I don't feel like I was scammed or anything like that but the experience felt very catered to tourists and they seemed visibly disappointed when I spent less than 30k yen 🤷♂️
