We tried Kobe Beef today for the first time ever. We were lucky that we got a table even without reservation. The staff explained everything in English to us and we had one chef (Chiharu) that was assigned to us. The whole meal was prepared and cooked live, in front of us. The chef explained everything to us and we had a really great conversation. The meal was amazing , the beef was cooked just perfect and the way eating was explained in a detailed matter. But most of all I have to thank our chef Chiharu and the waitress Rio. Chiharu is not only truly experienced but also a great and lovely person! We had such a wonderful conversation which gave the whole eating experience a world new level. I hope I can come back to this great restaurant and experience the Kobe beef again . We visited Kobe Beef EiKiChi today for my birthday lunch with some friends and WOW!!! What an amazing experience! Shiota who is the manager also happened to be our chef. He was awesome! He was very personable in that he asked us where we were from and shared things he knew about our home cities. He was very friendly and funny! We of course wanted photos to remember the experience and he was so patient and accommodating to all our requests. His cooking was delicious and his customer service was fantastic! Now onto the food... We got the special recommended Kobe beef with Set A as well as the Kobe beef sushi. We were first presented with the most delicious salad with Yuzu mayonnaise. Never have I enjoyed a salad this much; it was so fresh and really yummy. The Kobe beef sushi was very tasty. The rest of the meal was quite an experience as Shiota would recommend which bites to try with which sauces, toppings, etc. Each bite was better than the previous. All the veggies were grilled perfectly and the miso soup was wonderful. Overall, everything was top tier and would highly recommend. This will definitely be an unforgettable birthday! We had an awesome evening at this place! The beef was great, but it would have just been half as good, if we wouldnt have had the best service ever. Chiharu and Rio Tomato were so fantastic and friendly, i highly recommend you to visit them and have a great diner! Thank you so much
