We really wanted to try Kobe while we were in Osaka but as its so expensive were worried about making a mistake. It was really important to us to make sure we got real kobe beef from a certified restaurant that has a registered no and the gold kobe trophy on display.
This restaurant is a real hidden gem. Its in the basement under the theatre right in the middle of the Dotonbori madness but couldn't be further removed from it. It was quiet peaceful with excellent service, our waiter was excellent.
We had a kobe sushi set meal each, which was 2 pieces of Kobe sushi with soup, tempura vegetables and salad, we then had 120g of the premium beef each and added a rice between us.
The beef was absolutely delicious, so tender and melt in the mouth. We also shared a pretty decent bottle of Chianti between us.
Yes it was expensive, £144 all in but we were not disappointed.
Would definitely recommend that you give this place a try for the true Kobe beef experience!
