I had reservations for dinner at Wanomiya Kuromon located in the Kuromon Market. The restaurant has two floors with teppan grills with seating for about ten. The market wasn't busy as the crowds had already thinned out. This was my third time eating Kobe beef on this trip and I was kind of skeptical because it was slow but this is what made my dinner there memorable. I ordered the Kobe beef garlic rice, Kobe beef stew and chateaubriand. The chateaubriand was accompanied by butter sautéed vegetables. The beef stew was served first and had the distinctive Japanese style stew flavor. Next the chateaubriand was served four ways, first plain so you can savory the flavor of the beef. Secondly with either wasabi and salt or miso. Lastly with pickled garlic. They all tasted good but my preference was the wasabi and salt. The garlic rice had a stronger garlic flavor than the other restaurants. It was very good as well. Because it was slow, I met the two sisters Chena and Chesu and we talked about my trip and where I was from. We talked the entire time I was there. So much that I forgot to take pictures lol. They gave me a certificate to verify my A5 Kobe beef dinner and a magnet. Dinner was a little pricey but well worth it! Of all the restaurants i went to in Osaka, this was the best overall experience. I had a great dinner and company.
