Ishikawa was a great chef. His cooking was impeccable and we had a great time eating there.

My friend booked us a dinner here for our last night in Japan & we do not regret it one bit! It was a very well thought out course meal, everything was prepped and made to perfection and we could not be happier and pleased with our entire experience here at Wanomiya. A special thanks to their staff and Nakai for making our dinner so enjoyable and lovely. The quality of meat and side dishes were extremely well made & delicious. We were both impressed and satisfied at the end of our meal. Well worth what you pay for and more. I loved that it also didn’t take us too long to finish our meal, everything was perfectly timed. Thank you for giving us such a memorable last dinner in Osaka, we will be back and will confidently recommend this restaurant to friends and family!!

The lunch time menu includes the side dishes (which are also delicious) and for a small fee you can convert your gohan into yakimeshi with garlic and small chunks of Kobe beef.
