Came here on a whim and were so thankful to be able to get seats. We missed our trip to Kobe and were looking for good restaurants serving Kobe beef in Osaka. Saw the reviews, made our way here and were pleasantly surprised by how close it was to the train station. The staff were so friendly, especially the chef, who was clearly very proud of his craft and happy to be share it with others. We ordered an assortment of 3 types of wagyu beef sushi, and two types of beef steak (120g each). The meal came with rice, salad, and a bowl of Kobe beef soup. The chef cooks in front of you and you sit at the counter. Every bite melted in our mouths. He taught us how to enjoy the beef (on its own, then with garlic, then with garlic and wasabi, then with miso sauce). He gave us an extra wagyu sushi and ice cream dessert on the house too. Very friendly man who was chatting with us despite the obvious language barrier. The bill came up to about 42,000 yen for two of us. Yes, it’s way more than your average meal, but definitely worth the experience.
