You are better off getting some Kobe beef and cooking it yourself at home (in your airbnb) in all honesty as the meat, while it tastes delicious everywhere that’s serving the authenticated one, will be great, there is no difference between restaurants anywhere from experience.
This place had potential but very much peaked once we sat down as the staff were all in shambles. It seemed like someone’s parents owned the restaurants and the kids were left to their own devices to run it. First strike was when they tried to upsell us on our order - trying to convince us to spend more on a higher cut of beef.
Again, the food was good but honestly the beef did all the talking. The sides were fine but I mean how bad can you mess up a salad.
The icing on the cake was when they ended the meal with trying to bribe us with a high review on google with Japanese sweets/Pokémon cards - yes; Pokémon cards. This is why this place is highly rated on this app.
As I mentioned earlier, you’re very much better off buying the raw ingredient yourself, spending the money there, and cooking the beef yourself - it will be guaranteed to taste good no matter how you cook it.
