To be honest, it is a bit pricey compared to what you get. Half of the price goes to the experience, that chef cooks in front of you. They have lots of certificates of KOBE beef, but at the end it really depends on what food you deliver. For us, 32000yen for two persons, sharing a basic 120g sliced KOBE beef sukiyaki and a small KOBE steak (which taste surprisingly ordinary) was not a smart choice. We basically filled up our stomachs with veggies and rice. So, with the small portion of the meal (salad, rice, sukiyaki, slice of beef and a steak), the ordinary taste and the price of a hotel restaurant; sorry to say we would rather go to a wagyu beef all you can eat restaurant which would cost even less. They have English menu, probably targeting foreign customers. One chef was friendly and we appreciate that. Yet there was no one else at a weekday dinner time. Something is not adding up.
