The food was great. On the expensive side for the dishes served. I guess you are paying for the location more than the food.
The staff were nice and friendly. Although they were in their own sphere, and we had to ask for their attention to get some basic things, like drinks menu, glass of water for the kids.
The place tries to position as a high end steak place. But in reality, it is not holding the same standard. We tried a couple of other tapanyaki places is Kyoto before going to this restaurant in Osaka. All in the same price range for our group. I can tell you the Kyoto places really worth every penny you spent. I really enjoyed the food here, but I don't think I got my monies worth as a combined experience.
