Terrible Experience at Kobe Beef WANOMIYA Namba Midosuji Store
I had a truly disappointing experience at Kobe Beef WANOMIYA Namba Midosuji Store, located at 1 Chome-7-8 Namba, Chuo Ward, Osaka, 542-0076, Japan.
First, the prices were outrageous—450g of beef, 4 soft drinks, and 4 fried rice dishes cost over S$700. It felt like a complete rip-off for what we received.
The experience was made worse by poor hygiene and disorganized management. The person in charge was coughing constantly, yet he wore no mask and didn’t wash his hands while preparing food. Despite having several staff members, he seemed to distrust them, handling nearly every task himself—waiting tables, cooking, weighing, and cutting the beef. This created a chaotic and uncomfortable atmosphere.
The staff arranged for a young girl to cook our meal, but during the process, the coughing shop in charge still had to step in to add salt. This was incredibly unhygienic and left us feeling uneasy about the safety of our food.
I sincerely hope no one else has to go through an experience like ours. This was by far one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had, and I cannot recommend this place to anyone.
