Had dinner here and, thankfully, it wasn’t one of those frantic, overcrowded yakiniku joints. The whole experience felt unhurried, which already puts it above average for a place sitting near Nankin-machi. We went for the 2–3 person set. Service-wise, Takao was warm, attentive, and doing her best to explain things despite the language gap. She even helped grill some cuts for us, which is always welcome when you don’t want burn your expensive cuts of beef. As for the food: it’s fine. Exactly what you’d expect from a standard Kobe beef yakiniku shop—good, but not life-altering. The only thing of note was the “assorted vegetables.” The menu photo promised corn and capsicum; we received mushrooms and sweet potato instead. Not a tragedy, since nobody comes to a Kobe beef place for the salad course, but still a bit of a disconnect and caused a bit of a confusion for us. Overall? A decent stop if you want to tick the “Kobe beef” box without the crowd pressure. Not a destination meal, but a pleasant one.
