Kobe Beef Takakura is a small high-end restaurant specialized and only serving A5 Kobe Beef. The menu consists of two categories and tasting sets. We choose the 30.000JPY tasting set in combination with the 110 grams of Filet (the most tender and expensive meat) and a cup of rice (Set A). The Filet was magnificent, better than any steak we had eaten so far (even better than last year's Sukiyaki in Kyoto). Highly recommend ordering the smallest portion to try, as its very expensive but a must-try if you're visiting Kobe. Together with the 2-3 person tasting set we both felt full after the course (and I'm a large eater). Our Chef today was Mr.Takashi Misaki, who explained the beefs and helped us with some pictures. As expected of Kobe Beef, the restaurant is not cheap, but a very very good go-to place to experience eating Wagyu. The restaurant is small with room for only 9 seats. I recommend making a reservation, especially for dinner time hours.
