I had two goals when I visited Kobe. Visit the herb garden, and EAT KOBE BEEF!!! I was originally going to eat at a less expensive place, but I decided to treat myself. Enter Kobe Beef Takakura. A cozy little spot in the heart of the city. I ordered two higher end cuts as a set; 400g roughly. From the moment I walked in, I was treated with the utmost of kindness. Chef Hara was not only beautiful, but an exceptionally gifted cook. She cooked and seared my beef to utter perfection. I’ve never had such delicious beef in my life. The set meal came with some of the most amazing stew, a delicious salad, and this tiny little sandwich that I could have eaten thirty of. While the price is high, the quality surpasses it without a doubt. I truly enjoyed my time here, and should I ever find myself in Kobe again I will certainly be returning.
