The two star review is for the bad value and authenticity, not the quality of the food.
The food was good, but not 400+ USD good for 1 person.
You’ll also notice that all of the menus are in English. There literally is no Japanese menu and the chef was from Nepal.
You will also notice that 100% of the Google reviews are all from foreigners. There are zero Japanese people, which seems strange, no?
i’ve been to at least a dozen places like this in Osaka and like the others, the experience was good, but it wasn’t better than others and it was by far the most expensive.
I can easily get the same experience for 75% less at multiple places in this town so I’m not sure why people go here. I think it’s mainly foreigners who have only gone to one place?
