I recently dined at a teppanyaki restaurant known for its Kobe beef, and unfortunately, it did not live up to the hype. I found the experience to be overrated and certainly overpriced for what was offered.
The Kobe beef itself was just okay—while I expected a melt-in-your-mouth experience, it fell short of those expectations. Additionally, the rice served alongside was dry, lacking the flavor and texture that would typically complement such a meal. The prawns were another disappointment; they were tough and overcooked, which detracted from the overall enjoyment of the dish.
Given my experience, I don’t think I will be returning to this restaurant. There are certainly better options out there for a teppanyaki experience that offers both quality and value.
