Unfortunately with kobe beef things don't come cheap and we didn't have the energy to head out to kobe, so the next best thing would be to find an authentic restaurant that is decent and authentic in Osaka. Well, the wife as always, finds a nice joint with a reasonably priced lunch menu which allows for the a range of selection of menus for a range of budgets (like tasting menu for 3900++ to 10k+ for more premium cuts). Being mindful of eating too much and other stuff to eat out there, we went with 100g of tender red meat and sirloin. We were served by Sunita and the service was excellent with occasional reminders on how and when to use the various condiments. The parent company runs many joints of different concepts so I guess they have kind of economies of scale I suppose
