Extremely disappointing experience, especially for the price point. This was an $800 meal and it fell far short of expectations.
From my observation, the chef handling our counter appeared inexperienced — the way the food and knife were handled lacked the confidence and precision you’d expect at this level. That alone already set the tone for the meal.
The beef was decent, but at around 300,000 yen for just 120g, it is, in my opinion, severely overpriced. As for the prawns and squid, they were nowhere near worth what we paid — very underwhelming and forgettable.
At this price, I was expecting something truly exceptional. Instead, it felt like a tourist trap. I remember looking at the lowest reviews while on the way there, and after dining, I now understand exactly why they exist.
Will not recommend, and definitely will not return.
