After two amazing weeks in Japan, the dinner was supposed to be our final highlight. We have visited Japan from Hokkaido to Kyushu on 3 seperate occasions and are big fans of Japanese food and hospitality. This place however is a tourist trap from start to finish. The meat is questionably Kobe beef, no marbeling, flavor and bite was not even close to past experiences. The Teppanyaki chef Taninaga was lackluster and and at times patronizing. The food was the biggest dissapointment, poorly executed Teppanyaki style cooking, flavorless vegetables boiled in a plastic bag, miserable beef nigiri, the draft beer was the highlight of the evening. The price of 140.000 Yen almost triggered a stroke, what a waste of time and money. The four of us left frustrated and with a feeling of certainty that we had been conned. There are amazing food places in Osaka, give this one a miss...
