After trying the kobe beef here, I realised that whatever wagyu steak I have tasted are lack lustre as compared to the teppanyaki beef steak here. The steak literally melts in your mouth, and I have tried various Michelin star restaurants beef steak and none can be compared to what I have tasted here. This is really a feast to my taste bud and it makes me really wanna come back here again. My chef is T. Hanafusa and I dare to say his culinary skill is comparable to Michelin star chef! Thank you.

My fiancé and I visited this restaurant to celebrate our engagement, we decided to go for some of the higher quality cuts of meat. The staff were so friendly, the food was fantastic, the chef explained everything in detail and recommended us on how best to enjoy the cuts, each piece of Wagyu was individually cooked so nothing was cold or over done. We would love to come back again, they are also very foreigner/English speaker friendly. We are also so curious as to what type of miso paste they use as it was the most delicious miso paste we have ever tried, highly recommend putting it on eggplant

We really enjoyed our Kobe beef teppanyaki here at Wanomiya. We tried the super premium Kobe beef in Kobe and felt that it was over priced. Here we tried their more reasonably priced Kobe beef (below 10k for 180g) with seafood and overall, we walked away very full and satisfied. Much better value than the super premium Kobe beef we tried in Kobe. The chef also speaks some English and overall was a very positive and good experience.

Excellent dining 🍽

This was my family's only opportunity to have Kobe beef here in Japan. We picked the right place to do it. We are visiting Japan from the States so our Japanese is quite limited, thanks to Google and a very patient staff, they helped us order a fantastic lunch. The chef, Sasa, not only did a fantastic job cooking the steak and vegetables perfectly, he coached us on how the meal is traditionally eaten. Sekiya, also very patient with us, made sure we picked the beef that was perfect for us. We really had a good time, the food was perfect and the memories of our family dinner will be with us forever.
