I visited this Oriental branch of Wa no Miya after it was recommended by hotel staff. Considering the high ratings, I expected a premium dining experience. However, I found the overall value to be disappointing. The price was quite high, yet the beef was tougher than expected, and it did not match the image I had from reading the reviews.
Another concern was communication. There didn’t seem to be any staff who could speak English, which made it difficult to feel comfortable or to fully understand the menu and service details. Based on my experience, I felt that the high review scores might be somewhat overrated.
