I went there around noon on a holiday.
There were hardly any customers, so I was able to get in right away. I ordered the restaurant's most popular dish, the Kobe Beef Ramen Salt (1,300 yen).
The beef bone soup tasted like oxtail soup. However, when I slurped it down with the noodles, the distinctive animal smell of pork bone ramen hit me. I thought, "The beef bones have quite a strong animal smell, don't they?" The restaurant says it's light, but I don't think that's the case at all.
Rather than being light, it's just bland, with a strong animal-like flavor that left me feeling full.
The noodles were unremarkable, and the soup was like the one above, so the flavor profile was quite difficult to discern and didn't leave much of an impression. However, if you add all of the meat miso and beef shigure included in the set and sprinkle in plenty of coarsely ground pepper from the table, the flavor profile becomes more pronounced and you can enjoy a decent taste.
The rare steak included in the set tasted like roast beef. It's delicious, but as the ramen itself is not that great as mentioned above, it just leaves an impression, and it might not be so great if eaten on its own.
All of this costs 1,300 yen, which feels quite expensive.
I don't think I'll be ordering it again.
