Not worth the $20 entrance fee. Steak sushi was chewy and not characteristic of Kobe beef. Ramen and the rice dish had small, almost minuscule quantities of beef, and it did not seem to be Kobe beef as promised by the menu. Only redeeming factor was the texture of the Ramen, which was pretty good. Also the music was just one 70’s? pop song that got annoying as it was playing on repeat.

Want to dive into trying Kobe beef but not sure where to begin? This place offers a good sample set for < ¥2000 (before taxes) for the uninitiated/undecided. What’s more, it’s located near Kobe’s major shopping area and chinatown. The value for money sampler set serves kobe beef in sushi, ramen, and stewed beef tendon (with rice!) forms, and the meat is absolutely delish in all the formats served! 10/10 will recommend to anyone who wants to give Kobe beef a try but are unsure of where to start. There’s also a more pricey set that includes a wagyu steak—but I think the ‘basic’ sample set already serves more than enough food to leave your stomach full and satisfied. Like most eateries, space for seating is limited. Not for patrons with large luggages, prams, or wheelchairs. Largest seating space available is for 4 pax (and there are only a couple of tables with this option).

Great beef ramen place. but limited to 3 sets available and there is a need for individual order of set A or B per pac. Set C can be shared option. provides add ons e.g. rice or noddle serving, raw or savoured egg.
