Amazing food and amazing service! Very English friendly

If you are ever at Kobe & visiting Motomachi, Meriken Park… do try out this Kobe Beef joint @Kobe Beef 5Star! This a cosy & warm restaurant in Winter time after a whole day exploring Kobe… in the rain! Awesome service & hospitality. Awesome Kobe Beef Xmas set! Just go with the chef’s recommendation on medium rare for the Sirloin cut… even the kids lap it up & asking for more. The set is a full meal and the only item on the menu for the festive season. So be prepared to splurge depending on the type of choice of cut. Yummssss!

An excellent Christmas course showcasing five expressions of Kobe beef. From the delicate broiled sushi and refined roast beef to the comforting stew and refreshing prosciutto Caesar salad, each dish highlighted a different side of Kobe beef. Came here for dinner. Steak was tough and chewy. I thought the food was good from the good reviews but it was extremely mediocre and extremely expensive. It was average and not worth the money at all. Please do not ever come here. You will definitely be disappointed after your experience here. The name of the restaurant is 5 star but I would give it maximum 1 star .

the steaks were really average. sooo disappointed. we got a variety of cuts and from tenderloin to sirloin and tender red meat. all really average. exorbitant for this standard. such a sad representation of Kobe beef. i informed the waiter but he didnt bother to do anything. so i guess a one star rating is correct
