When in Kobe, you have to try Kobe beef. This restaurant is recommended by local. Definitely on the pricey side, but later I realized this is totally worth it.
You first pick the portion of the beef. Price various. The recommended is sirloin. Chef will let you take photo with your A5 waygu before going to cooking. There will be several rounds of cooking. Each round a few slices are given to you while you proceed tasting each slice. Honestly this is the best steak I’ve ever tasted, even though I’m not a steak person. Each bite comes with juice in your month and it just melt. For each slice, the chef cooks with care. Of more than a dozen slices, there’s only 1 slice that’s a little bit more chewy, but that’s still way better than the rest of the beef I tasted before. Strongly recommend no doubt.
