We had the pleasure of dining at KOUJYU during our stay in Japan on Septemer 24, 2025, and it was truly one of the highlights of the trip. The Kobe beef was absolutely delicious —prepared with such precision and care that every bite more than lived up to the high expectations we had been saving for weeks to taste.
What made the experience even more memorable was meeting the Nepalese chef, GEETU, who personally prepared the delicate meat right in front of us. Watching her work with so much focus and dedication was fascinating, yet at the same time she was warm, friendly, and happy to chat while cooking. Her attentive presence created a very personal and welcoming atmosphere, which doubled the pleasure of the meal.
After three weeks in Japan, we had looked forward to Kobe especially for this moment, and KOUJYU and GEETU delivered perfectly. Exceptional food, matched with genuine friendliness and care—an unforgettable dining experience.
