We stumbled upon Kobe Beef Kurosawa after looking for a local restaurant that served quality Kobe Beef without having to take out a second mortgage, and this place, tucked up a lane between Chinatown and Motomachi shopping street was a gem that ticked that box.
From the moment we walked in we were geeeted by Kosaka, who elevated our experience from good to great - she took out models of a cow to explain the different cuts of meat, let us pose with a trophy and took our photos with the food. Both my kids were pleased when she also made them origami shapes and animals out of the napkins, even giving us a certificate and sticker to commemorate our visit.
The Kobe beef itself was also amazing - tender, melt in the mouth and full of flavours - with our beef sushi served with a flourish and blow torch at the table. We would recommend this place without hesitation.
