A friend and I were fortunate enough to be able to walk in last September in a post-lunch rush lull and have what was *the best* culinary experience hands down that I had in Japan. For tourists wanting to make this a tentpole experience, there was also a fun photo opportunity the chef provided for us. The staff were very knowledgeable in making recommendations, but respected our food choices when we selected a mid-tier cut due to budget, and advised us on the best ways to consume and best enjoy our experience. I've had Kobe beef before, but it was not prepared by experts, and I didn't know how much of a difference that makes in how it can be enjoyed. Chef Emi was wonderful and we were very fortunate to have been able to find a seat at her table. ごちそうさまでした!
