For starters.. we had no plan/ reservation but wanted to taste some of the best beef in the world. We walked to 3 places and got turned away ☹️. Travel thousands of miles and get turned away. I know we didn't plan. We did a Google search and found this place. They took us in at 4pm. Then we ate heaven and Master Chef Shu was brilliant at his craft + da food was amazing. We got A5 Kobe beef sirloin and chateaubriand to tell the difference and price $$.
Yes you can tell the difference. Wasabi + fried garlic + ground salt + soy sauce = flavor explosion/ 😳. The richness and flavor will fill you up. My American mindset of getting a huge rib eye/ giant steak took a back seat. More is not necessarily better. When I return to California, I'll go back to my old ways 😜 but the A5 Kobe should be eaten in smaller amounts. The sheer richness will fill you up. We also had the additional dinner option with veggies, miso, and salad. Also the opening Kobe 🍣... Bravo. No words or pictures will do this place justice.
