If you go to Motomachi in Kobe, you should definitely check out the takeout stand from this restaurant (it’s on the corner, across from the main restaurant)
The stand has 3 tables and chairs but there is a seating area in the main square - just steps away from the stand.
The chef there is great - super friendly and very knowledgeable about Kobe beef 🥩. You can watch the chef prepare your meal.
The menu offers Kobe beef sushi, different Kobe beef burgers (served with an egg, sautéed onions, pickles, ketchup and sauce), fries and Kobe beef croquettes (which are delicious).
The beef used is quite marbled and tender. It’s cooked perfectly - medium rare. You can truly enjoy the quality of the beef.
The burgers range in price from ¥1000 to ¥1800 - depending on how many grams of beef you want. Fries are only ¥200 and croquettes are ¥300 (totally worth it).
They serve drinks such as lemonade, sodas and others. They also have beer (Kirin) for ¥350.
They have takeout. Unfortunately, there is no English menu available (you can use Google Translate) or just order from the photos.
Next time I’m in town, I’m definitely coming back here for a meal!!!
