Probably our worst experience in Japan. To avoid if you want to experience Kobe beef. Do not expect to pay 1500 yen and get something descent. It is called Kobe but is a scarce part of beef with no marbles. Chewy and not pleasant. You can pay 8500 and get a fillet, but if you want to spend that much, you don't do it in this place as street food for a 60g portion. Tourist trap that leaves a bad taste in mouth. Wrong strategy in my view, particularly in such a respectable country like japan. It is only good if you have no idea what Kobe beef is and just want to say: been there done it! Otherwise you are much better off getting normal beef elsewhere in town for the same price or lower. The stand should be considered just another stand in Kobe Chinatown, not a place to try Kobe beef.
