My partner and I made lunch reservations here because of all the great reviews. Unfortunately, we were extremely disappointed with our meal.
We both ordered 220g of the "Kobe beef, finest lean meat." We fully expected the meat to melt in our mouths, but instead it was very chewy and didn't taste like anything special. There were also a few pieces that had a ton of fat on them.
We made a special trip to Kobe just for their famous beef so it was heartbreaking to spend 28,000 yen total for a mediocre steak.
I have no idea how this place has a 4.9. I don't recommend you come here. The Kobe beef skewer we had at a street vendor in Chinatown was better.
At least the staff was friendly.
