Kobe beef is excellent, and sure you can try it anywhere, but if you're in Kobe and want to try it then I highly recommend having it teppanyaki style. The service from the chef and atmosphere adds greatly to the experience of spending a considerable amount on 'just beef' but it's so good, melts in your mouth. Comes in a variety of formats and the accompanying sides are great too. Shout out to our chef Matsuoka who guided us through the taste experience!
