We arrived during lunch rush hour without reservations. There was nobody seated. They sat us down and proceeded to baby us by explaining the english menu as if we couldn't read for ourselves. The staff, being non-japanese for the most part, hovered around us and stared at us the WHOLE time, making things extremely uncomfortable. They also abruptly repeated "excuse me" whenever they wanted to speam, which made me want to throw myself out the window. All in all, the meat itself wasn't bad, the prices are expensive and there is heavy upsell pressure. Buyers beware, this is easily a gimmick for tourists.
