The worst cut of beef I have EVER had. As a beef farmer I have had many cuts of beef, supermarket or restaurant, all of them were better than this. We explicitly ordered the “Tender” cut of beef (more expensive) and not the tougher cheaper cut, however the only thing tender about this meal was my pride. Legitimately chewing pieces for 2-3 minutes before it was fit to swallow. The chef we had was sub par and clearly inexperienced as most of the meat was cold in the middle. The other staff members were pretty inhospitable, lacking in any conversation with us and this wasn’t a language barrier as they spoke very good English. At over 10k Yen each going here was expensive mistake. Maybe the top cut (20k Yen) would’ve been good but after this experience I am highly doubtful. This region of Japan has many outstanding beef restaurants for a better price and experience, you’d do well to have a worse meal than this.
