Nice people, nice chef, nice food but it was a really (really) expensive lunch (way beyond what I thought the experience of eating high quality Kobe A5 would cost). No one to blame but ourselves. When we sat down and looked at the menu all prices were transparently shown but we still went ahead and ordered the A5 Sirloin 330g for 52000Y. That’s a lot of money for a piece of beef and a few pieces of vegetables and rice and salad for most people. I know that it is top grade beef but I honestly did not think it would be so expensive. We had better quality beef in Takayama (Hida beef) for a quarter of the cost. Maybe I’m missing something. But thankyou anyway chef. After a quick google search, your restaurant does seem to be on the more pricey side and I’d love to know why?
