They are rated 4.9 for a reason. We got the sirloin, red meat and beef sushi and they absolutely met our expectations. Though the marbling looked the same as the A5 wagyu, it is a lot less fatty and a lot flavoursome. Same with the kobe sushi. And the gold leaf sakura sake totally compelements the beef. But what really made the difference was our teppenyaki master RYO. An absolute gentleman who interacted with us throughout our meal even with limited english. I would highly recommend this place if you want authentic kobe beef with the highest Japanese hospitality. RYO was also kind enough to offer us dessert on the house and it was the icing on the cake. We had a very memorable last night in Japan and will absolutely come back to this place when we visit Osaka.
They were also very accomodating of our toddler and he was seated at the counter as well.
Lastly I hope to come back for the whisky 😊
