Silver-rated Kobe beef was extremely poor not just for the price, but in general.
Having recently had both similar and lesser quality Kobe beef of the same cuts elsewhere that just melted in our mouth, I was extremely surprised to find the Kobe beef served tonight was not just poorer quality, but extremely chewy. The nigri was probably the worst offender, with better (and extremely tasty) options served even all along Nishiki Markets.
With the big push for Google reviews from this restaurant, I do wonder if it's just being marked up by tourists who don't know any better.
The silver-lining was that the staff were polite and approachable.
