We came on a Thursday night without reservation and were greeted immediately and seated after the service staff checked there was room upstairs.
Our attendent, Yura, upon seeing we were foreign, spoke English to us straight away confidently and sat us down explaining the menu with her recommendations. We were surprised at her competence at the English language and she shared with us that she was currently studying English. She showed us how the meat should be cooked on the BBQ.
The atmosphere was quiet, pleasant and nice retro inspired music, there were 4 tables on the upper floor, and only 1 other table had guests so we had a wonderful time with our own table in the corner.
The food was beyond a 5 star, can't believe the kobe beef is so delicious! Never had anything like it! Literally broke apart as you ate it and melt in your mouth.
Worth noting there is a 5% service fee after 17pm but is understandable.
We were encouraged to take photos and felt comfortable and at home.
