This is a solid Kobe beef experience. I read some bad reviews saying that the restaurant only sold very expensive pieces of meat. That wasn’t the case for us. My group doesn’t love how fatty Japanese Wagyu can get, so we actually go for the leaner pieces. We thoroughly enjoyed the red meat, inside skirt, as well as the beef tongue. Great flavor and not too fatty. The kalbi was pretty good but less flavor. The worst piece was outside skirt. The piece was cut too thick so it was too chewy after cooking. Not pictured were the bibim noodles, cold noodles, and sesame salad. Sesame salad was great. Cold noodles were better than the bibim noodles. Service was fine. Standard for this type of restaurant. We did have a reservation booked on a weeknight and sat down immediately when we arrived.
