We came to Kobe from Osaka specifically for some birthday Kobe beef, and we weren't disappointed. We didn't have a reservation , but fortunately they managed to squeeze us and we had the table for just over an hour. Hiroki took excellent care of us, with the meat of exceptional quality. Would definitely recommend and may have to come back before we head home!
