I made a reservation for the anniversary course to celebrate a friend's birthday.
My reservation was for 7:30 PM, but when I arrived 10 minutes early, there were no seats available.
I had to wait a while. The waiter confirmed, "Your reservation is for 7:30 PM, right?", giving me the impression that I should wait because it was early. Arriving 10 minutes early for a 7:30 PM reservation and being made to wait... While I was seated exactly on time, I still felt a bit unsure about the restaurant's crunch. As someone who had been excited to introduce a great restaurant to my friend, I felt somewhat embarrassed at the start. The food wasn't bad, but the timing of the food was poor. While I was still finishing my main meat dish and sipping wine, the final dish, a soufflé omelet rice, was brought out. It had only been about 40 minutes since I arrived, and they were serving it without any consideration for the customer's pace. I felt a sense of insecurity at the beginning, and in a fit of anger, I told them it was too early and asked them to take my order away. (Sorry.)
Also, after the meal, I ordered a dessert with a message, which my friend enjoyed, but it was disappointing that it didn't include coffee or anything else. I ate the cake with water. The restaurant description describes it as a "high-end Western restaurant with a sophisticated atmosphere," but I was left feeling a bit confused.
I wouldn't recommend it for a special occasion like an anniversary; it feels more like a fancy family restaurant.
