Good beef.
I would like to be honest with my experience. We reserved at 7:30 but the chef only attended to us at 8:15. The rest of my family did not mind but if you came hungry then you can see why that would be a problem.
The chef/owner was friendly and funny but a bit aggressive (more on this later). As an asian family, we ordered 1 bowl of rice each. The rice came late and we had to follow it up before it was served.
The food was delicious there is no doubt in that but you will have to order the expensive meat to really feel the Kobe beef experience.
Before paying the chef handed us qr codes that would lead us to writing a review for his restaurant. Verbatim “rate this restaurant and give it 5 stars now”.
I gave it 5 stars with the knowledge that i will edit my rating when i get home. My senior mom accidentally gave him 1 star. He took his phone and showed us the 1 star review and asked my mom to change it to 5 star. My mom didnt have data anymore so i said ill do it when i get home. The chef gave me access to his wifi and made sure i changed her review to a 5 star.
This was my experience but my dad who chose the resto said he enjoyed. He didnt expect to pay that much (73,000yen / 27-28 thousand pesos) though. If my family is satisfied then i am satisfied.
Hope your experience goes well!! The expensive meat really is soft and tasty.
