We ordered the lunch course featuring middle- and lower-tier A5 Kobe beef. Unfortunately, it seemed like Chef Hiroshi prioritized another group—two white guests and two Japanese guests—who had ordered a more expensive course. We couldn’t help but feel overlooked, possibly due to the difference in what we ordered or who we were.
Unlike the other table, we didn’t receive a name card from the chef, nor did we receive much attention from him during the meal. That said, our server was kind and attentive, which we appreciated. The food itself was very good, especially the garlic rice at the end—it was a great way to finish the meal.
