When you’re walking down this busy corridor you wonder how you will be eating an expensive meal but when you walk up the stairs into the restaurant it is quiet, relaxing and classy. The staff is very attentive and professional.
We had some real highlights at this meal. The table side Kobe nigiri was torched table side. That was a good touch. A side or starter salad that was well crafted and delivered way more than it had to.
We had the beef stew, the hamburger steak and steak set, 2 large sirloins and the curry fried steak.
The steaks were good but not great. Without seasoning when searing it left something to be desired. We had that a couple of days prior and it made a difference.
The beef stew and curry beef were standouts. I mean we couldn’t get enough of the two of these. If I could go back which could happen in a year or two, then I would order 2 per person. It was like having comfort food that was made at home but elevated in such a way that made me wonder of all slow cooked beef dishes should be made with Kobe.
