The restaurant itself had a lovely, calm atmosphere and was treated kindly and respectfully by the staff from the moment I entered.
The meal set was wonderful, with some of the best tasting soup I've ever had. The steak itself, a 220g prime cut, is easily the best steak I've ever had, cooked to perfection and melting in my mouth immediately. The dessert was a light and refreshing, a perfect palette cleanser to finish It off.
It was much more than I'd ever normally spend on a meal, but it was worth every yen for the treat and experience of eating true A5 Kobe beef.
