This place is a total tourist scam DO NOT COME HERE AND WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. We spent over 10800 yen just for two small plates with barely anything on it. Not only that the waiter ended up forgetting my side until I ask where it is. And by the time they got my side I already finished my plate. And the menu has meat priced over 1000$ or more. We had to ask twice for the sides on my dish, and we still didn’t get all of them.
The price you pay for what you get on your plate is really not good, even if you don’t get much meat, there’s not much else to eat on the plate, just a small amount of salad, wasabi and potatoe. Not enough to feel full.
Another problem was, when we were trying to enjoy our meal, one of the waiters was trying to show us the trophy the restaurant had one for quality beef. That’s cool, congratulations, but we are trying to enjoy our meal and we don’t want to be disturbed by a statue. Perhaps they could have asked if we wanted to look at it.
Another thing, I understand that cooking beef in such slices can be difficult, and I did ask for medium rare, but the meat wasnt hot, it was only warm. Why? The store didn’t really have anyone else there.
We went into this store having really high hopes, but it feels just like a tourist trap.
